Traditional Shredded Ham Pea & Ham Soup

  • 3 packs of Brady Family Just Add Traditional Shredded Ham
  • Knob of butter
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 medium potato, peeled & diced
  • 1L stock (preferably ham or pork)
  • 500g frozen petits pois


  1. Heat a knob of butter in a saucepan and when lightly foaming gently fry the chopped onion until softened, but not coloured.
  2. Tip in diced potato and stir to coat in butter, then pour over stock. Simmer until potato has softened.
  3. Add frozen petits pois and bring back to the boil then gently simmer for a couple of minutes.
  4. Remove from the heat and blend until smooth.
  5. Stir in Brady Family Just Add Shredded Ham, serve and enjoy.
