Serves: Makes 8
These golden pastry pinwheels are the ultimate crowd-pleasing snack. Simply roll shop-bought puff pastry with a layer of your favourite relish or chutney (think tomato & chilli, caramelised onion, bacon jam or classic mustard), a generous helping of cheese, and premium Brady Family Traditional Ham curls. Baked until bubbly and crisp, then finished with cracked black pepper and fresh herbs, they're perfect for lunchboxes, party platters or a quick savoury bite.
INGREDIENTS
For the Pinwheels
- 1 sheet shop-bought puff pastry, completely thawed if frozen
- 3 tbsp relish, chutney or mustard
- 200g cheddar cheese, grated
- 120g (10 slices) Brady Family Traditional Ham, roughly chopped
- Cracked black pepper
To Serve
- Extra chutney or relish
METHOD
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (180°C fan/Gas Mark 6) and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
- Roll out the puff pastry sheet, keeping the paper underneath to prevent it from sticking to your work surface.
- Spread the relish evenly over the pastry.
- Sprinkle the grated cheese over the top, followed by the chopped Brady Family Traditional Ham.
- Carefully roll the pastry into a log shape and cut into approximately eight equal slices.
- Arrange the slices on the prepared baking tray and bake for 15–18 minutes, or until golden and crisp.
- Serve warm or cold with extra relish or chutney for dipping.
