Our 3 day curing method allows the ham to slowly mature, giving it a more delicate and distinctive flavour. We turf smoke twice, before and after steam cooking the ham, to guarantee the best flavour. So you are always left with the highest quality traditional Irish ham. A tradition produced with passion here in Timahoe, Co. Kildare.

Serving Suggestion: Brady Family Twice Turf Smoked Ham Cheese Toastie
Preheat the grill and toast crusty white bread on both sides. Put 2-3 slices of Brady Family Twice Turf Smoked Ham with 2 teaspoons of mustard, grated white/red cheddar cheese, 2 dashes of Worcestershire sauce, a sprinkle of red onion, salt and pepper. Cook for 2-3 minutes under the grill until golden and bubbling.

Our 3 day curing method allows the ham to slowly mature, giving it a more delicate and distinctive flavour. We then steam cook the ham slowly before expertly finishing each ham by hand.
